Where exactly do we stand?

Against all animal activism that abuses humans.

Dedicated to the fight against bad labeling, animal bans, animal raids, false accusations of animal abuse, and against all other forms of abuse committed against human beings by others in the name of animal welfare/rights/protection.

We recognize human beings in their own right, and oppose the animal rights view that animals are or should be thought of as equal to humans. We find Ingrid Newkirk's comparing broiler chickens to holocaust casualties to be abhorrent beyond the pale. It is an agreegious insult to those who suffered and died under Hitler, and demeans their memory to the survivors.

Pets and livestock are not our slaves though we own them. Only a human can be a slave. Animals are not our children though we love them. We are not their mommies, daddies, guardians. We do not 'adopt' animals. Adoption is for human children. We recognize the very pc animal welfare term 'adoption fee' as a proffit or at least a price.

What we do not oppose:

People who rehome animals.

People who, without malice or a thirst for glory, take animals off the hands of another owner with that owner's full consent, because it would benefit both owner, animal, and new owner.

People that quietly take in strays.

The person who finds a kitten up a tree and helps get her down (which is a true rescue.)

The person who pulls a struggling drowning puppy out of the river and revives him (another honest rescue.)

People who do all these things honestly and humbly without boasting about it, and have no animal rights sympathies, or animal welfare penchants for spreading around rumors of animal abuse to blacken a person's reputation.

The vast majority of animal rescue is dishonest or at the very least, thoughtlessly claimed. Whenever a person says they 'rescued' an animal after getting it from another owner, they are insulting the previous owner by default. A rescue is the saving of something or someone from actual and immediate danger. If the animal was not in immediate danger with his life hanging in the balance while in the previous owner's care, then it is not a rescue. Unfortunately, animal welfarists would have people believe the animal was in danger and that the owner was abusive, even when that obviously was not the case.

What we oppose is this.:

Animal Rights.

Animal Welfare (animal rights, just the non-vegan version)

Animal rights/welfare/protection fundamentalist extremism and all their dishonest and boastful rescue - as in

People taking animals from homes, then turning around and claiming to have 'rescued' them from abuse.

People who buy animals then claim they 'rescued' them from abuse.

People who engage in the raiding of family homes of their pets and hide their crimes under the mantle of 'rescue' while falsely accusing the family of animal abuse.

People who support the animal raiders.

People who spread tales of animal abuse. Real abuse is very rare, an abaration. Animal welfare gossip and tales of animal abuse are extremely common.

People who think they can dictate what we keep where and when.

People who - while they may honestly have rescued an animal - they brag about it. And saying "I do rescue" or "I rescued this animal" is bragging even if the rescue itself started out sincere.

People who get all hot under the collar and start arrogantly ranting on their animal rights soapbox "You don't care for the animals!" Every time 'rescue' or anything about them is called into question.

We are opposed to all animal rights/welfare/protection fundamentalist lies, including the self-glorifying rant made by ars and their sympathizers "Don't you care for the animals!?" That is so typical of animal rights, because lying and trying to smear us with the "not caring" brush is the only thing they can do when cornered. They can't legitimately justify the position of anti-humanism and animal rights, so the next best thing is to try the "I'm so great because *I* CARE! And you must not because you have the nerve to disagree with me and question the claims of animal rights - you cruel people!"

We oppose any and all animal cop mentality, and the so-called "humane" societies and the "humane" movement, because it is anything but toward human beings. Ar/aw people do work in rescues and shelters. That doesn't mean everyone who does is equally hardline ar. But most if not all, turn out to support aw and ar positions and agendas designed to abuse innocent human beings in one way or another. That's why they're there.
