Animal Rights Trapped by their Own Dogma

Ar Hypocrisy in Animal Care

First case:

Most ars still feed their dogs and cats dog and cat food made from meat and animal products. Normal pet foods.

They call this necessary for their 'companion animals' which must eat right, and should have the right to eat what's best for them and what they like.

The hypocrisy is obviously in the fact that they are fine with supporting the meat industries to feed their animals, but not to feed themselves or other humans. I find this particularly contemptable. To them, it's good if an animal eats it, but it's evil if a human eats it.

Second case:

Not as common, but it does happen, some ars feed their dogs and cats specially formulated vegan pet foods.

The hypocrisy in that is the fact they don't have the animal's interest at heart, and are willing to put their companion's health in jeopardy with a bad diet in order to not support the meat industry.

Either way, they're trapped by their own ridiculous hypocrisy and there's no excusing either practice for an ar vegan.

Simply put, IMO, if you're a vegan and you don't want to be a hypocrite, you shouldn't own a pet that eats meat. Get a herbivore and mind your own business, keep your noses out of ours!
